    A contract must be completed by Thursday, May 11, 2017 in order to be assigned a room for summer housing.

    Incoming & Current Residence Hall Students

    In most cases, current Grantham second floor residents can continue living in the same room during the summer. To help ensure keeping your same room, complete your summer housing contract and submit to the Housing Office prior to May 1, 2017.

    John Neumaier Apartment Residents

    To be eligible for John Neumaier summer housing, students must be current residents of John Neumaier and enrolled in a minimum of one summer class, or have an assignment in John Neumaier for the 2017- 2018 academic year.

    • For those Currently Living in John Neumaier: To keep your same apartment for Summer 2017, your Summer contract must be submitted by Friday, April 30, 2017.
    • For those Living in John Neumaier Fall 2017: If you would like to live in a John Neumaier apartment for Summer 2017, your application/contract must be submitted by Friday, April 30, 2017. If your apartment is not available for Summer 2017, you will be notified the week of May 1st.

    What if a student chooses not to attend MSU Moorhead?

    Any first-time freshman student that has been admitted to MSUM and decides not to attend MUST notify our office. Prior to check in, cancellation of a housing assignment must be submitted via online form to Housing & Residential Life.

    I am an upperclass student who has applied for housing and have decided that I do not want to live on campus and/or will not attend MSUM next year, what do I need to do?

    What is the duration of my License Agreement?

    All housing agreements are for the full academic year. A request for contract release is required from any student who wishes to be released prior to the end of the academic year. Some circumstances are automatically approved (i.e. graduation, transferring); students meeting these criteria should fill out the online Approved Release of Contract form. Students who do not meet the approved criteria, must apply to be released from their contract; residents wishing to apply must visit the Housing & Residential Life Office in Ballard 120 for a form and instructions.
