As the Dean of Students, I coordinate support services for students who are experiencing a variety of challenges and oversee the areas of accessibility resources, student conduct, counseling services, and the CARE Team. I serve as the University's Title IX Coordinator, as well.
I grew up in southwestern Minnesota, graduating from Russell-Tyler High School. I earned a B.A. in English and Communications/Business from Augustana University, an M.S. Counseling and Student Affairs from MSUM, and a Ph.D. in Education from NDSU. I have worked in a variety of areas over the past 25+ years, including residence life, student activities, service-learning, diversity initiatives, multicultural programs, and Title IX.
