MSUM Brand Standards
MSUM Marketing & Communications delivers promotional materials that reflect our brand and key messages. MSUM's brand gives our materials a consistent look and design across all mediums, ensuring strong name recognition through an identifiable, cohesive brand.
Visual Identity Standards
The Visual Identity Book provides the framework for the design and production of all print and online communications. It is intended to reinforce the impressions we create by reaching and serving our audiences with intention and purpose. Used consistently, it will strengthen the visibility and recognition of MSUM as a whole by safeguarding our brand and increasing the impact of our communications.
The marks of Minnesota State University Moorhead are controlled under a licensing program administered by CLC Collegiate Licensing Company. Any use of these marks will require written approval from CLC Collegiate Licensing Company. The approved merchandise vendor list will be updated as additional vendors are approved to use the MSUM visual identity.

Purchasing or Creating Artwork for Merchandise
If you need artwork created for merchandise, please submit a request.
Official MSUM Logos
The MSUM logo and its variations are a registered Federal trademark owned exclusively by the university. Alterations to the MSUM logo are not allowed. Two colors make up the MSUM signatures: MSUM red and MSUM gray. Consistent use of these colors reinforces a unified identity and makes the MSUM signature more memorable and recognizable.

File Options to Download
- On-Campus Users: JPG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) - This is the most commonly used format for web and print.
- Outside Vendors: EPS (Encapsulated Postscript) - This is used for special graphic needs and requires Adobe Illustrator.
