Red River Psychology Journal Student Editors

Students can gain valuable experience by serving as journal editors. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with faculty and other students to learn about the research and peer review process. One to three students will be selected each year to serve as journal editors and work with the faculty supervisors. Students may earn undergraduate research credit (psy 497) for editorial work. Student editors should meet the following requirements:

  • Declared psychology major with at least Junior standing
  • Completion of PSY 231 & 232 (stats); PSY 330; PSY 430 or PSY 297/497 (undergraduate research)
  • Overall GPA at least 3.0
  • Commitment to 2.5 hours/week (1 credit)
