Leadership & Learning Department Courses & Curriculum

The Department of Leadership & Learning represents future leaders who lead with growth and change. The knowledge you gain at MSUM can apply to any sector: corporate, small business, education, entrepreneurship and nonprofits. The department offers three degrees, 12 emphasis options, and 12 licensure options.

A master of science or specialist in Educational Leadership will advance your career and make a meaningful impact on K-12 or higher education. This program delivers personalized advising and collaborative experience while developing your confidence in technology as an essential learning tool.

Obtaining a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction will expand your knowledge of history and development of social structures in America and the relationship between social structures and schooling.

Earning a doctor of education in Educational Leadership helps you to apply knowledge and experiences while broadening and deepening your reflection about values, trends, and ethical issues in educational leadership. This degree strengthens your opportunities to seek advanced leadership positions in a range of education institutions. This program utilizes an online cohort model with two face-to-face summer residencies.
