Meet Sydney Arntzen, MSUM's new public safety sergeant. Sydney's responsibilities are to keep the campus safe and ensure it is suited for learning.

Q: What drew you to MSUM?
A: There was always something about campus that I've really liked.

Q: What is one thing that surprised you about MSUM?
A: Going from student to employee, I didn't realize how much opportunity there is to grow here as an employee.

Q: What is one thing you are learning right now and why is it important?
A: I'm learning all of the buildings which is important in case of emergency.

Q: How do you prefer to start your workday?
A: I like to see what will be happening on campus that day, who will be on campus, and knowing the weather.

Q: What are we most likely to find you doing on the weekend?
A: Watching women's basketball.
