Welcome to the #DragonFamily: Pam Gohl

Meet Pam Gohl, the new deputy athletic director. She helps oversee the internal operations of the athletics department.

Q: What drew you to MSUM?
A: I’ve known Chad Markuson, MSUM’s athletic director, for years because I’ve worked in the same conference. I’m also excited to see what Dr. Tim Downs can do for the athletics on campus. I love the sense of community campus, too.

Q: What is something you are learning in your position right now?
A: Every campus is like a puzzle. Figuring out the process and daily life. I’m learning the MSUM way of doing things.

Q: What are you excited about going into the fall semester/season?
A: Gameday atmosphere is always exciting. It’s a way to connect with the community and support the student athletes who have worked so hard. I also love MSUM’s Go! Team and their ability to make such strong content surrounding athletics.

Q: What’s a good piece of advice/motto you live by?
A: Work hard when no one else is looking.

Q: What is your favorite fall activity?
A: I am a huge Chicago Cubs fan. They are having a good season, so I hope I can see them post season in the playoffs.
