Welcome to the #DragonFamily: Josh Clarke

Josh Clarke serves as the university-wide contact for Veterans Services and leads new enrollment and retention strategies for Veterans and military-connected students and their families.

Q: What drew you to MSUM?
A: I just retired from the North Dakota Air National Guard last year after 29 years in the military and as I was looking at positions out there; really the job description itself drew me.

Q: What energizes you at work?
A: My coworkers. Everyone I’ve run into has been very supportive of better initiatives and veterans support, and the students that I’ve been able to interact with have been great.

Q: What book are you currently reading?
A: I’m currently trying to get into Game of Thrones. I’ve watched the TV show so I’m reading the books to get the real perspective.

Q: What is your favorite place to eat in Fargo-Moorhead? Why?
A: Mangos, Acapulco, or Plaza Azteca.

Q: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
A: I would want to go back to Europe and get a chance to tour more of it.
