Welcome to the #DragonFamily: Beka Stone

Meet Beka Stone, the Dragon Swim School Coordinator and Assistant Diving Coach. She coaches the diving committee and runs the swim school program through MSUM.

Q: What drew you to MSUM?

A: I like the atmosphere. A lot of the people that I was talking to from MSUM were so nice and welcoming and it just felt like home.

Q: What was one thing that surprised you about MSUM?

A: How much everyone is connected with each other. Everybody that I've talked to know each other, and everybody says “hi” when you're walking past.

Q: What energizes you at work?

A: Interacting with students, hearing their stories and their excitement about things gets me excited.

Q: What is your favorite social media platform or your favorite app on your phone?

A: I probably am on Pinterest more often than anything else.

Q: If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would you choose?

A: I don't know if I would really want to trade places with anyone. I like where I’m at.

Q: What show are you currently watching?

A: I am currently watching New Girl again. It's just one of those shows you can watch over and over.
