International Students Health Insurance
Once you are admitted to Minnesota State University Moorhead and receive an I-20 for F-1 students or DS2019 for J-1 students, you are entered into an agreement with Minnesota State Systems and abide by all the statement, policies, regulations and conditions that appears on your I-20 and DS2019 form. Purchasing the MSUM health insurance is mandatory for all F-1 and J-1 students at MSUM.
According to U.S. State Department Policy 22CFR514.14 requires that all international visitors on J-1 and J-2 visa carry health insurance provided by the institution.

Optional Dental Insurance
International students are able to purchase the optional Dental Insurance plan from United Health Care.
