Biology Scholarships

A variety of scholarships are targeted specifically if you major in Biology, Health and Medical Sciences (HMS), Human Health Sciences (HHS), Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (EEB), Cellular and Molecular Biology (CMB), Biochemistry and Biotechnology (BCBT) and Life Science Education (LSE). You can apply for scholarships through the online scholarship application.

Scholarship applications open October 1 and close February 1.

Eligibility:

  1. Applicants must declare a Biosciences major
  2. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, unless otherwise stated
  3. Applicants should be enrolled at MSUM for the 2019-2020 academic year

Applicants must be a sophomore or junior standing in fall of the next academic year; demonstrate research and leadership skills; have departmental involvement; and a willingness to participate in a departmental seminar.  Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Applicants must be a sophomore, junior or senior standing in the Fall of the next academic year with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Applicants must be a senior standing in the Fall of the next academic year with a minimum GPA of 3.75.  Applicant must demonstrate campus or community involvement.  Applicant can be a Biology, Biochemistry-Biotechnology major or Sustainability major with an emphasis in Environment Science.

Upperclass students majoring in Biology.

Students enrolled in the Biosciences program with a GPA of 3.0.

Applicants must be a junior or senior standing in the Fall of the next academic year with a GPA of 3.0 who show financial need.  Applicants can be either a Biology or Biochemistry-Biotechnology major.
 
Need is determined through the FAFSA. If you have not completed a FAFSA already, you can do so at www.fafsa.gov.  FAFSA results must be received by the scholarshhip application deadline date.
