Master of Business Administration (MBA)
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a professional program providing you the knowledge necessary to become a more effective leader who embraces a high-level worldview of organizations and a strategic thinker who embodies an analytical approach to business. Courses in finance, marketing, management, entrepreneurship, investments, project management and more, will increase your operational understanding of the functional areas of business, give you the tools to apply critical thinking skills to managerial decisions, and provide a framework for strategic planning that applies to all areas of business. MSUM offers a fifth-year extension program providing a direct pathway from a business administration degree to an MBA degree. In just five years, you’ll earn your undergraduate degree and a master’s degree in business administration.
MSUM’s Paseka School of Business maintains prestigious AACSB International accreditation for excellence in business education. As a leading business program in the region, MSUM provides you a high-quality teaching environment, a commitment to continuous improvement and curricula responsive to the needs of business.
MSUM’s MBA program was nationally ranked in the 2018 U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs list. It was named in Top Management Degree's Top 50 Most Affordable Online MBA Programs 2017 article, “…bundling this great value in a flexible format that allows students to join on-campus classes electronically.”
All MBA courses are offered fully online, which eliminates the need for face-to-face meetings and lets you complete coursework when your schedule allows. If you prefer face-to-face contact with colleagues and professors, you can always stop by during faculty office hours and attend on-campus events.
You can start taking classes in the fall or spring. With rolling admission, you can also take up to nine credits before being formally accepted to the program, helping you to gain confidence in your enrollment decision.
Unlike many other MBA programs, MSUM does not require a specific undergraduate major or undergraduate course prerequisites for admission. That means you can start work on your master’s degree without the delay of having to take additional undergraduate courses.
