What is 18 Online?
18 Online provides the 18 credits you’ll need to become a qualified content area concurrent enrollment instructor. It’s the result of Minnesota House of Representatives bill H.F. 3326 and Senate bill S.F. No. 3062, which appropriated $3 million to provide curriculum development for the Northwest Regional Partnership continuing education program.
Take one course for only $750 and no other fees.

Ensure you have the proper teaching credentials by September 1, 2023.
Who can participate in 18 Online?
- Lakes Country Service Cooperative (LCSC) teachers.
- Northwest Service Cooperative (NWSC) teachers.
- Teachers who currently teach or are approved to teach concurrent enrollment (dual credit) classes in their Minnesota school district.
- Teachers outside of the cooperatives, space permitting.
Work with your school district for 18 Online approval and then apply through MSUM’s Graduate Studies Office.
