School of Media Arts & Design Courses & Curriculum
The School of Media Arts and Design offers a variety of courses in visual art and design. Degree programs in Film Production, Film Studies and Animation offer students courses in directing, producing, HDV and 16mm film production, post-production techniques, moving image aesthetics and criticism. Graphic & Interactive Design majors focus on the creation and production of visual images, with coursework exploring areas of print production and design, web and multimedia development, 3D graphics, brand identity, typography and visual systems. Students pursuing a degree within the School of Media Arts and Design are taught by highly engaged faculty with diverse professional backgrounds.
