School of Communication & Journalism Courses & Curriculum
The goal of each School of Communication & Journalism major is to prepare students for a professional career. Each major includes coursework designed to enhance your verbal and visual storytelling skills, oral communication skills, critical thinking abilities, as well as team and leadership skills to build their technical skills. You will work to effectively share a message using multimedia platforms, along with theory-based coursework that also addresses communications’ ethics, leadership, communications law, research, persuasion, and interpersonal communication.
