    Student Research and Creative Activities

MSUM’s Andrew B. Since its inception, the SAC has grown exponentially and continues to be one of the most anticipated events of the spring semester.

  • Student Benefits

We encourage all MSUM students to take part in the SAC, whether you’re presenting or attending. As a presenter, you’ll have the opportunity to share your hard work in a variety of ways—panel discussions, workshops, multimedia presentations, displays and demonstrations—and gather constructive feedback to help you better analyze and continue exploration. If you aren’t presenting but still want to be involved, you’re welcome to attend peer presentations to support their research and learn about a wide variety of topics.

  • Faculty Benefits
The SAC is a great opportunity for students to grow and learn through research and observation. Two ways to encourage students to get involved are:
Mentoring student research and suggesting they present at the conference
Asking students to attend and learn from other students by making it part of your spring semester syllabus

    Minnesota State Undergraduate Scholars Conference

This annual conference marks a milestone for students to celebrate and share their discoveries and to celebrate the collaboration among Minnesota colleges and universities.
