Current Student Scholarships
Upper class scholarships are available to current MSU Moorhead students pursuing their first undergraduate degree who have completed at least 12 MSUM semester credits by the end of fall semester who are in good standing. MSUM Foundation offers scholarships gifted by alumni, businesses, friends and foundations to incoming, current, and graduate students. Many of these scholarships are available through individual departments, colleges and programs. Application and recommendation form is available October 1 with a deadline of February 1 each year.
Competitive Upper Class Scholarships
Upper class scholarships are available to students pursing their first MSUM undergraduate degree. Applicants must be enrolled full-time (12 or more credits) each semester. The online scholarship application is available annually October 1 with a February 1 deadline.

This scholarship is awarded to full-time, female students who are pursuing their first MSUM undergraduate degree in a non-traditional major. Students must be of sophomore standing or above and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

This scholarship is awarded to full-time, incoming students who are residents of Minnesota and demonstrate financial need. Priority will be give to a first-generation student. This scholarship is renewable for four years and the student must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher to be eligible for renewal.

This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate financial need and are from Napoleon, ND. If there are no eligible candidates from Napoleon, a student from Locan County, ND may be eligible and, if none, a student from North Dakota.

This Scholarship is awarded to full-time, junior or senior students who have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and are members of a Fraternity or Sorority. Financial need may be considered in awarding. Preference will be given to TKE members who meet criteria, should the fraternity be re-established at MSUM.
