Returning Student Advising & Registration

  • Class Registration for Returning Students is done on an individual basis to accommodate your unique needs. Please take a moment to review the information below to ensure a smooth and successful transition back into MSUM.

    Returning Student Advising & Registration consists of the following three parts:

    1. Submit the form below to indicate your desire to be contacted by the Coordinator of Readmission to give you step-by-step directions on how to get in touch with the appropriate contact person in your major area. You will be given the name and contact number for you to set-up your academic advising appointment.
    2. Prior to your meeting with an advisor, please review your Interactive Degree Audit Report (DARs) in eServices to ensure the academic record reflects the intended major and includes any transferable credits you have taken prior or after you attended MSUM. If you do not know how to access eServices and/or you do not know what your DAR is, please refer to the eServices Student Handbook for instructions on pages 1 and 10 respectively. If you do not feel the information on your DAR is accurate, please contact MSUM Registrar for further assistance.
    3. At your registration meeting you will register for the recommended courses in eServices. Please refer to page 7 in the eServices Student Handbook for step-by-step instructions on how to register for your classes as a refresher if it has been a few years since your last registration.
