If you are geographically mobile and obtain licensure in more than one subject, or choose to double major in Physical Education-Teaching, you should enjoy a distinct advantage in your job search.

However, health education is not confined to the classroom. Health educators focus on helping all people live better lives – from family units to large urban communities – by developing educational campaigns and programs to promote healthy habits and environments. With a Health Education degree, you can also work in health management organizations, community health organizations, health advocacy groups, parks and recreation, state and local departments of health or corporate wellness programs.

The 2015 graduating class of Health Education majors enjoyed a placement rate of 87.5%, with some students pursuing graduate education.
