MSUM Speech-Language Pathology graduates have extremely high placement and PRAXIS examination pass rates. The three-year average for both statistics stand at 100 percent.
Upon completing the five-semester program, you’ll be qualified for clinical positions in communication disorders throughout the nation. More than 33 clinical practicum affiliations are available for off-campus practica and internships, including medical, school, private and other settings.
After graduation, approximately half of MSUM’s Speech-Language Pathology graduates work in a medical setting, while the other half work in school settings. Employment in all sectors of the field is growing steadily. By 2020, demand for speech-language pathologists and audiologists is expected to increase by 23 percent and 37 percent, respectively.
