Health & Human Performance Scholarships

MSUM offers a variety of exercise science, athletic training, health and human performance scholarships for current and incoming students. Scholarships are listed below. Students can apply for university scholarships through the online scholarship application October 1-February 1.

This scholarship is awarded to upperclass students who are majoring in Physical Education. Preference will be given to students who are planning to teach elementary physical education. 

Write a 250-500 word essay on what your professional goals are on your intent to teach elementary education.

This scholarship is awarded to students who are majoring in Athletic Training and demonstrate financial need. Students must have a great attitude towards the profession of athletic training and be in good academic standing within the Athletic Training Education Program. 

Financial need is determined through the FAFSA. If you have not completed a FAFSA already, you can do so at studentaid.gov. 

Please submit an essay addressing your attitude towards the profession of athletic training, articulate your financial need for the scholarship, and your good academic standing in the Athletic Training Education Program. 

This scholarship is awarded to junior or senior students who are Physical Education Teaching majors. Preference will be given to a female student. 

No additional requirements are needed.

This scholarship is awarded to junior or senior students who are majoring in Health Education and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. 

No additional requirements are needed.

This scholarship is awarded to students majoring in Health Education Teaching, Physical Education Teaching, or Exercise Science who are in good academic standing.

No additional requirements are needed.

This scholarship is awarded to students who are in the Athletic Training program. 

No additional requirements are needed.

This scholarship is awarded to junior or senior students who are majoring in Athletic Training.
