School of Art
The MSUM School of Art will teach you the basic principles of art, instruct you in the use of a wide variety of materials, encourage the investigation of the creative processes, and provide a framework for understanding the field of art in the historic and contemporary context. This knowledge forms the basic visual and conceptual vocabulary that is used to explore your personal expression.

MSUM's Roland Dille Center for the Art houses a regionally-renowned gallery which exhibits art created by regional and national artists, as well as university faculty and students.
