MSUM alumni Morgan Laite (’17) and Maggie Thoemke (’16, ’19) met when they found themselves working at a job neither of them enjoyed. Bonding over their shared experience at MSUM, similar personalities, and the fact that they were born nine days apart, they quickly became close friends.

Simone LeClaire’s films are a study of self-expression and exploration. The MSUM film production graduate is a recipient of the Jerome Hill Artist Fellowship.

Marissa (Shiock) Weltin was awarded a 2022 Upper Midwest Regional Emmy for her work as an interning producer on WDAY when she was still a student.
