Provost & Senior Vice President of Academic & Student Affairs
Minnesota State Moorhead seeks an accomplished, student-centered, and forward-thinking Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs to serve as the University’s chief academic officer and a key strategic partner to the President. Reporting directly to the President, the Provost is a member of the President’s Cabinet and senior leadership team, providing vision and leadership that advances Moorhead’s academic mission, strengthens the student experience, and fosters a culture of excellence across the institution.
All members of the campus community are invited to attend the candidates’ open forums to learn about each finalist’s experience, hear their vision for Academic and Student Affairs, and participate in a question-and-answer session. In-person participation is encouraged when possible; however, a Zoom option will be available for those who wish to attend virtually. Open forum sessions are not recorded. Following each forum, members of the campus community will have the opportunity to provide feedback to help inform the selection process.

Glenn Davis is the Vice President for Student Engagement and Success at Bowling Green State University. He previously served as Interim Provost and Senior Vice President and Vice Provost for Academic Affairs at Bowling Green State University and was Interim Dean of University College at St. Cloud State University. He holds a Ph.D. in English, an M.A. in Medieval Studies, and a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics.

Dr. Ken Sumner

Ken Sumner is the Principal at Beacon Higher Education. He previously served as Provost and Executive Vice President at Manhattan University and as Associate Provost for Academic Affairs/Faculty Affairs at Montclair State University. He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Dr. Ok-Hee Lee

Ok-Hee Lee is the Interim Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs at Minnesota State Moorhead. She previously served as Dean of the College of Education and Human Services and Associate Vice President of Student Success and was Co-Chair and Professor in the School of Teaching and Learning. She holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, an M.A. in School Administration, and a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
