Math Tutoring
The math department offers tutoring for a variety of 100 level math courses. Tutors are available for in person, drop-in tutoring in MacLean 278 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday. See the Math Tutoring website for more information.
University Writing Support Center
The University Writing Support Center offers appointments with a trained tutor so that students may receive constructive feedback on any paper they wish to improve. Visit this link to learn more about the UWSC and to schedule a tutor time.

How do I access Tutor.com?
Access the Tutor.com website via a link on your D2L Brightspace main page once you are logged in. Every student will be given a total of 15 hours of tutoring to use over the course of the Fall and Spring semesters. Should you use up all your available hours before the end of the academic year, simply contact Mahlet Habtemeskel to request more information.
Follow these steps to get started:
- Go to D2L Brightspace, log in and locate the Tutor.com link under the Academic Support dropdown on the main navigation bar. You can also find a link to Tutor.com within your course pages.
Technology Requirements and Troubleshooting tips:
- Disable all popup blockers for the site
- Enable cookies and Javascript
- Enable ActiveX if you are running Internet Explorer
- Install Flash Player if needed
