This badge is designed for non‑technical learners who want to understand AI, use it effectively, and apply it thoughtfully in their roles.
Cost & Funding
The cost to complete both AI Literacy courses is $4,175.
Eligible participants may be able to complete this badge at little or no cost through the Good Jobs Challenge, a regional workforce funding initiative.

What You’ll Learn
Participants gain a foundational, practical understanding of AI with an emphasis on generative AI tools commonly used at work.
You’ll learn how to:

- Write clear prompts and evaluate AI‑generated content
- Follow ethical and responsible AI practices
How the Badge Works
The AI Literacy badge includes two parts:
- Part A: AI Literacy Fundamentals
Self‑paced, online learning focused on core concepts and practical skills. - Part B: Applied Project with Mentor
An optional mentored project where learners apply AI skills to a real‑world problem.
(Part B is available to learners who complete Part A.)
