The Woodman Lodge, which was located in Hitterdal, Minnesota, was part of a larger organization, The Modern Woodmen of America of Rockford, Illinois. The Altrusa Club of Moorhead, Minnesota, was established on March 26, 1960 as part of the Altrusa International Club network. The purpose of the organization is twofold.
