Sexual misconduct is an intolerable intrusion into the most personal and private rights of an individual, and is prohibited at Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM).
This policy is meant to address activities that are assessed as part of the student’s grade, rather than course content. It is the student’s responsibility to complete all course requirements and meet all student learning outcomes, regardless of whether or not they are able to attend all class meetings.
Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) is a member school of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), competing within Division II. As such, MSUM shall comply with the NCAA Policy on Campus Sexual Violence (as revised April 27, 2021). It is not acceptable for clerical staff or student workers to proctor course examinations. It is appropriate to ask faculty colleagues, preferably within the department, to proctor an exam when the course instructor must be absent.
