Preparing STEM Teachers to Successfully Navigate the Urban to Rural Gradient

  • Summer Internship Opportunities for Science and Math Majors

    Between 6-10 interns will be hired to assist area teachers and other educators in science, math, engineering, and technology areas as teaching assistants or tutors. Each internship will be approximately 100 hours and will be paid at the rate of $10/hour. They will include an orientation workshop . Lunch provided and interns will be provided with pedagogical support and mentoring as they help plan, facilitate, and participate in STEM education activities.   

     Interns must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident alien, must have taken a science or math course, and preference will be given to science or math majors at the freshman and sophomore levels.
