Transfer Student Application
As a transfer student you have already started your college story. Let us help you make an easy transition to MSU Moorhead. There are only a few steps to apply as a transfer student. If have questions check out our frequently asked questions on transferring to MSUM or contact your Admission Representative. Remember to apply early to ensure scholarship and housing priority! You should hear an admission decision within two weeks after we’ve received all of your materials.
- Submit your application for admission online.
- $20 non-refundable application fee
- Transcript(s)* from all post-secondary institutions you’ve previously attended (This does not apply if you’ve attended another Minnesota State College or University institution after fall 2001.)
- High school transcript or GED scores may be needed based on college transcript information.
*Please have your transcript(s) sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admission. If transcript(s) are not in the same name as the application because of a legal name change, you must have the name on the transcript(s) corrected so that the names on the application and transcript(s) match. Please remember to submit a final transcript if you are currently enrolled in another university.
