MSUM's Informatics, Evidence-Based Practice & Project Management Strategy (IPEMS) graduate certificate will prepare you to play an integral role in the management of health information systems in your organization. Using an evidence-based approach, you will learn how to utilize health information systems to influence strategic planning, decision making, and clinical project management.

The IPEMS graduate certificate will be applicable to both nurses and other healthcare professionals. The certificate will pull specific courses from already existing Masters of Nursing and Masters of Healthcare Administration programs currently offered at MSUM, as well as, a course currently offered by the Masters of Business Administration program. Making available this unique packaging of our current courses is intended to appeal to a new market and will be beneficial to distinctive clientele in that: -It will create an alluring, short-duration post-baccalaureate option for individuals who are not currently interested in the full master’s program.

This certificate is 19 credits for Nursing students and 18 credits for Master of Healthcare Administration students.
