The BSW online program at Minnesota State Moorhead is delivered in a cohort-style format. You will be admitted and take your courses with the same group of students on a set schedule. Course delivery will be delivered online asynchronously.
Students who do not meet admission requirements may apply for Provisional Admission (PA). Provisional applicants must work with their academic School of Social Work advisor (or the BSW Program Director - only if you do not have an assigned School of Social Work advisor) to develop a plan to meet all admission requirements; then they may proceed to formally applying to BSW Online program.

Blend your passion with the purpose of serving older adults by pairing an on campus Social Work major with Leadership & Innovation in Aging Studies (LIAS) program. The double major provides a rigorous curriculum focused on exploring the aging process of individuals and societies and encompasses the study of physical, mental, and social changes; the investigation of societal changes resulting from an aging population; and the application of this knowledge to policy and program development.
