Room renewal is for students currently living in university housing and/or current Minnesota State Moorhead students. During room renewal, students will select their roommate(s), meal plan, and either claim their same room or select a different room for the following academic year.
Students who have completed their housing application by June 15, will be eligible to take part in room selection. During this process, students will be able to pick the space in which they want to live in the fall, selecting from available spaces for which they are eligible.
In order to be assigned a room in on-campus housing, a completely filled out and signed contract application, accompanied by the required $50 prepayment, must be received.

When you sign up for housing at Minnesota State Moorhead, you may hold the space in your room for another current student who has not yet signed up for campus housing. You will hold your roommate's space via the Roommate Group function in your housing application. The other student will see your “invitation” and complete your roommate pairing and room selection.
