An individual offered employment as a faculty member, or any individual assigned to perform faculty work, shall meet the established minimum qualifications as indicated below. This includes faculty in tenured, probationary, fixed term, adjunct, dual credit, or any other position in which they deliver course content for credit.

The course track for the BS in Exercise Science and MS in Athletic Training program is highly prescribed for students interested in pursuing the combination degree, mapping a very specific set of LASC, core curriculum exercise science, and master's level athletic training (AT) courses.

All faculty and staff of Minnesota State Moorhead are employees of the State of Minnesota. Employment positions with the university generally fall into two categories: unclassified (ex: faculty, deans, director of programs, vice presidents) and classified service positions (ex: technical professionals, office and administrative specialists, maintenance workers).

In accordance with Minnesota State system policy (3.35.1), colleges and universities shall award credit for K-12 world language proficiency.

A communication studies internship gives students the opportunity to work for an organization and receive college credit at the same time.

As stated in the introduction to Historic Resources in Minnesota: A Report of Their Extent, Location, and Need for Preservation, Submitted to the Minnesota Legislature by the Minnesota Historical Society (Minnesota Historical Society, 1979), "The 1977 State Legislature directed the Minnesota Historical Society 'to identify, inventory, and organize information about Minnesota's historical resources in a comprehensive plan.' It was anticipated that such a survey would be 'of inestimable use to the state, counties, cities, and regions in charting a course for historic preservation, recommending legislation needed in this field to the 1979 legislature, and bringing into sharp focus what programs and projects most need the State Historical Society's grant-in-aid program in the future'" (p. 1).
