The Exercise Science program includes an internship component designed to give you practical experience as a fitness professional under the supervision of an exercise physiologist, personal trainer or health care professional.

Culturally Grounded Social Work Practice: New Zealand is a three-credit spring course for Social Work students. This elective course will focus on the social, political, and cultural issues related to social work practice and human rights in both local and global contexts.
