Donating and transferring materials to the University Archives

University colleges, departments, committees, faculty, staff, and students are strongly encouraged to transfer university records of historic significance to the University Archives. Accepted materials include memorabilia, meeting minutes, reports, correspondence, photographs, scrapbooks, and much more. Contact the University Archivist for an assessment of potential donations.

Donating materials to the Northwest Minnesota Historical Center

The Northwest Minnesota Historical Center accepts donations of historically significant materials from the following counties: Becker, Clay, Kittson, Mahnomen, Marshall, Norman, Otter Tail, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake, Roseau, and Wilkin. Accepted materials include photographs, scrapbooks, diaries, correspondence, ephemera, business records, and much more. Contact the University Archivist for an assessment of potential donations.

Monetary Donations

Financial gifts are greatly appreciated and support the important work of the Archives. These gifts are used to support the purchase of supplies and equipment. Contact the University Archivist for further information.
