Sustainability Scholarships

  • MSUM offers Sustainability scholarships for current and incoming students. Scholarships are listed below. Students can apply for university scholarships online through the Office of Scholarship and Financial Aid.

    A merit-based Sustainability Scholarship is available to students majoring in any sustainability emphasis and are of at least sophomore status (30 credits or more). Scholarships of $1000, $500, $350 and $200 are typically awarded. Applications will be evaluated based upon the quality of the answers provided to the questions in the application form.

  • Award Amount: up to $1000, typically awarded end of the Fall semester.

    Description: Physics Department Scholarship recognizes outstanding work in physics or a closely related area, such as engineering or sustainability, if that work substantially involves physics. The work could be on instrumentation in the department or elsewhere on campus, a research project, software or other activity related to physics.

    Eligibility Requirements: The Physics Department Scholarship is open to any physics major who will be enrolled the following spring semester.
