American Indian Center Scholarships

MSUM offers a variety of scholarships for current and incoming American Indian students to help fund their education. Students can apply for university scholarships through the online scholarship application October 1-February 1.

Information on outside scholarships is also available.

This scholarship is designated for students of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation of South Dakota.  In memory of Palma Nelson Loftness.

Must complete at least 12 credits per semester and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA.  May be renewed for subsequent semesters, contingent upon funding.

Attach an essay (250 words or less) to the following:
  -  As a student from a diverse background, please share how your background and experiences will
     enrich the diversity of the MSUM campus community.

This scholarship is available to American Indian students (tribal enrollment is not required).

Must complete the Dragon Success Plan facilitated through the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.  Must complete at least 12 credits per semester and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA every semester.  May be renewed for subsequent semesters, contingent upon funding.
