Exploration Learning Community
You should live in this community if you are an undeclared student, interested in exploring a major. You will choose the Learning Community you'd like to live in to get exposed to your program of interest while still taking undeclared courses.
This community will help you discover your strengths and passions, as well as gain knowledge and assistance to help select a major that best fits your talents and aspirations. This community is located in either Dahl Hall or Snarr complex, depending on the Learning Community field of study you choose.

Fall
- COMM 111: Exploration LC First Year Experience (3 credits)
- SOC 110: Intro to Sociology (3 credits)
- BIOL 104: Human Biology (3 credits)
Spring
- COMM 100: Speech Communication (3 credits)
- PSY 113: General Psychology (3 credits)
As a member of the Exploration learning community, you will...
- live with other students who have declared a major in the field of study you are interested in and are exploring how their interests can lead to a career.
- take three classes with other undeclared students.
- take a career/life planning course instructed by a faculty member who has worked closely with students who are still exploring their options.
- have a Dragon Mentor dedicated to providing you with various opportunities for career exploration and support.
- be exposed to career options that can be attained through the various majors offered.
