Meet Paige Kosienski, a new admissions representative. She connects with prospective students to see how MSUM can be the path for their future.
Q: What drew you to MSUM after graduation?
A: Since I just graduated, I wanted to see what it would be like as a Dragon from the career side of things. I also love the inclusive nature of campus. It’s a university I can trust.
Q: What are you most excited about in your new position?
A: I love working with prospective students. Every single one is different. It’s so fun to learn about different aspirations.
Q: What is the biggest change you’ve experienced transitioning as a student on campus to a staff member?
A: It’s the same kind of work, but from a different perspective. Rather than focusing on my needs, I now focus on how I can I be of service to students just how people were of service to me as a student.
Q: What’s the craziest thing you’ve done?
A: I’ve studied abroad in New Zealand.
Q: What is your favorite aquatic animal?
A: Horseshoe crabs. They haven’t evolved for at least 445 million years. They’re perfect, never had to change.

Spring 2023 brings large influx of new international students to MSUM
This spring, MSUM welcomed 37 international students to campus. It's the largest international spring enrollment class in the last four years and MSUM could not be happier to welcome them to campus.
