Meet Paige Anderson, MSUM’s new security/communications monitor. She answers questions and watches over the safety of campus from day to day.
Q: What drew you to MSUM?
A: I’m from Moorhead and I actually toured here in 7th grade and instantly knew I was going to attend here. I just graduated this May and had a previous on-campus job for public safety because it matched my criminal justice major. I now work here full time for the office since graduating.
Q: What is your favorite part of the job?
A: Being able to know a little about everything on campus. I have to give people directions or transfer them to a department that can answer their questions. I get to help all the departments in this way.
Q: What is your favorite social media platform?
A: I love watching TikTok, but I love Facebook for being involved.
Q: What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
A: Working. I am a coach and communications director for a Fargo cheer team. I also cheer, so I’m either coaching others or competing myself.
Q: What’s a piece of advice you live by?
A: I live by the idea of being yourself and not changing for others because you think you need to. People are going to come and go, but you are going to be with you your whole life, so you should love who you are.
Welcome to the #DragonFamily, Paige!
