Meet Kaitlin Eken, MSUM’s newest general maintenance worker within the Building Services department.
Q: What drew you to MSUM?
A: The friendly environment and people here.
Q: What’s your favorite pizza topping?
A: Goat cheese and veggies. I really like Blaze Pizza.
Q: What do you do to turn a bad day around?
A: I go for a long bike ride, even if it’s freezing outside. I enjoy anything outdoors, especially biking and hiking.
Q: What has been your favorite part about your new role?
A: Interacting with different people and both my coworkers and supervisors are awesome. I have autonomy within my role, which I also really like.
Q: What’s something you want people to know about you?
A: I’ve done a lot of solo travel doing farm work in different regions! I’ve been to Oregon, New Zealand, New York, and even Costa Rica.

Spring 2023 brings large influx of new international students to MSUM
This spring, MSUM welcomed 37 international students to campus. It's the largest international spring enrollment class in the last four years and MSUM could not be happier to welcome them to campus.
