Minnesota State University Moorhead offers multiple degree options for becoming a special education teacher. On campus students have the opportunity to pursue an Academic and Behavioral Strategist licensure in addition to an Elementary Inclusive Education degree, or a degree in any Secondary & K-12 Teacher Education program. For students in the Twin Cities area, a Bachelor of Science in Special Education is offered as a 2+2 program, leading to a Minnesota teaching license in Learning Disabilities, Emotional Behavior Disorders or Developmental Disabilities.
