Minnesota State University Moorhead is proud to offer automatic, competitive and need-based scholarships to freshman. Automatic scholarships, based on high school GPA and ACT, are awarded at the time of admission. In addition to automatic academic scholarships awarded through the admissions process, the Minnesota State University Alumni Foundation offers scholarships gifted by alumni, businesses, friends and foundations to incoming, current, and graduate students. Many of these scholarships are available through individual departments, colleges and programs.
Automatic scholarships are easy — just apply and be admitted. Plus, most are renewable. A separate application is not required. Newly admitted freshman who are U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens and meet academic qualifications are awarded automatic scholarships on a first-applied, first-awarded basis until funds are fully committed. Apply early and be considered for one of these freshman automatic scholarships!
