    Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society, is the only honor society for college students studying political science and government in the United States. There are more than 700 chapters of Pi Sigma Alpha located on college and university campuses across the country.

    MSU Moorhead’s Political Science Department hosts the Alpha Eta Mu Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha. New members are inducted each spring during the department’s annual Political Science Honors banquet. Membership is open to students of any major as long as the following requirements are met:

    • Completed at least 15 credits of Political Science
    • Completed at least one 300-level Political Science course
    • 3.0 GPA in Political Science
    • 3.0 GPA overall
