INTL 450 requires completion of a senior thesis, which is a capstone experience that ideally integrates your previous coursework with the international student experience (INTL 400). It should reflect a topic that interests you and in which you are prepared to invest a considerable amount of thought. The intent is for students to make some independent contribution to the field of international studies. The topic should be selected in consultation with the advisor to ensure that it is viable. After the topic is agreed upon, the proposal should be prepared, which will summarize the ention of the study, how the study will be conducted (i.e. methods) and include a preliminary bibliography of resources. This proposal will be shared with members of the International Studies Program Committee to provide feedback. Students who are currently enrolled for INTL 450 will receive a set of deadlines for the submission of the project proposal and the project itself.
