  • Volunteer in the Community!

We strive to offer students a number of opportunities to volunteer in the community or on campus. These volunteer opportunities range in level of commitment from a one time donation or an afternoon at a shelter to a year-long weekly commitment to a little brother or little sister. You can find volunteer opportunities through the following methods:

    • Visit the Impact Foundation website and view local volunteer postings. You can also view the Impact Foundation’s list of local agencies and contact them directly to ask if they have any volunteer needs.
    • Search for volunteer opportunities on DragonJobs (log-in with your StarID and passoword and search under "Volunteer".

Are you a community agency and have a volunteer opportunity? Post your opportunity on DragonJobs by creating an employer log-in and then listing your opportunity similar to a job posting.

    Please Log Your Volunteer Hours!

We want to keep track of how many hours and where our faculty, staff, and students volunteer in the community. Log your volunteer hours on DragonCentral. For instructions on how to log volunteer hours click here.

    2017 Volunteer and Service Fair

We will be hosting our 5th Annual Volunteer and Service Fair in the Ballroom of the Comstock Memorial Union. The 5th Annual Volunteer and Service Fair will be held from 1:00-4:00pm on Thursday, February 2, 2017. This fair is a great opportunity for students and local nonprofits to meet and discuss possible volunteer and service learning opportunities as well as possible internships or careers in a nonprofit.

If you are an organization with volunteer and/or internship opportunities and would like to participate in the fair, please click here for more information.
