We strive to offer students a number of opportunities to volunteer in the community or on campus. These volunteer opportunities range in level of commitment from a one time donation or an afternoon at a shelter to a year-long weekly commitment to a little brother or little sister. Check out the Volunteer Opportunities on DragonJobs (log-in and search under "Volunteer") or go to FirstLink's Volunteer Opportunities website to find an opportunity that is right for you or your student organization!

Are you a community agency and have a volunteer opportunity? Post your opportunity on DragonJobs by creating an employer log-in and then listing your opportunity similar to a job posting.

    2016 Volunteer and Service Fair

On Thursday, February 4, 2016, from 11am to 2pm, we will be hosting our 4th Annual Volunteer and Service Fair in the Ballroom of the Comstock Memorial Union. This fair is a great opportunity for students and local nonprofits to meet and discuss possible volunteer and service learning opportunities as well as possible internships or careers in a nonprofit.

Set-up will be from 10am to 11am and there is no fee or minimum number of representatives required for nonprofits to participate. If you are an organization that is interested in having a booth at this fair, please visit our online registration form that contains more information.

The Office of Student Activities is excited about our ongoing partnership with FirstLink's Volunteer Center to connect you to nonprofit organizations seeking volunteers. For additional Volunteer Opportunities in the Fargo-Moorhead area please visit FirstLink.

FirstLink’s mission is to assist people in identifying, accessing, and making effective use of community and volunteer resources. Click on the "Be the Change" blue circle on the bottom to find volunteer opportunities.
