"I have always enjoyed helping anyone I know learn and as my knowledge of science and chemistry has grown, so has my strong love of teaching these subjects. I always get told things like “I hated chemistry in high school.” This is one of the main things that fuels me to work as a chemistry teacher. I do not want my students to hate chemistry, I want them to have been challenged and ultimately enjoy learning all sciences. I think that science is important to learn because it not only puts facts into a student’s head and asks them to reiterate those facts on a test, but instead teaches students a new way to think and learn."

"I just want to bring Math to life for students and show them that Math does not have to be boring or scary; it can be fun and apply to all sorts of things."
