Students explore ideas that challenge the intellect by taking rigorous courses on compelling and sometimes controversial issues in a small and dynamic class setting.
Students are encouraged and expected to pursue their passions and interests by working on their own research or creative activities guided by faculty mentors.
Students experience the breadth of university life by attending concerts, plays, exhibitions, special lectures, or experience what the world has to offer by studying abroad.
Recognizing that Honors students get re-energized by exchanging ideas and debating each other, the Honors Program fosters a close-knit community of learners. For that reason, we strongly recommend first-year Honors students live with other Honors students in a living-learning community.
