Vote now for your Homecoming King & Queen

Interviews start Thursday, September 22nd and end on Sept. 28th

    Nominations Rules

As part of Homecoming 2016, we will be crowning a King and Queen. Anyone is eligible to nominate one King and one Queen Candidate. All applicants must be MSUM students, have at least Junior status as determined by credits and have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater. They should be actively involved in on campus, be a great example of Dragon Pride and dedicated to MSUM.

All nominees will go through an interview process. This process will take place in the CMU starting September 22, 2016. The interview panel will consist of MSUM students, faculty and staff. The interview team will be looking for students who are enthusiastic, poised, articulate, and interested in MSU Moorhead. The number of nominees will be narrowed down to 10 finalists, all of whom will be notified on October 3, 2016 at the Community Block Party. The campus population will then vote online Monday, October 3 through Friday, October 7 at noon.

Selection to Court is based solely on interviews and scores from the interview. No member of the interview team is allowed to participate if they are in a student organization with or work with the nominee.

Please Note: Being chosen for Homecoming Court is an honor; it should not be viewed as a competition. For this reason, no advertising will be allowed except word of mouth. The Homecoming Planning Team on the Homecoming Facebook page, Homecoming website, via Student News and Dragon Digest, will advertise all finalists. If your group violates this policy, with or without the consent of your finalist(s), your finalist(s) will be disqualified.

A nomination form and waiver must be submitted for each nominee. Nomination forms and waivers can be found on the Homecoming website.
